But, the more your children know about the risks and responsibilities that come with sexual relationships, the better they will be able to handle them.<br /><br />It has been shown that those teenagers who have information about sex, HIV and AIDS are more likely to delay sexual activity or to use condoms.<br /><br />As a parent, you have the chance to give your kids all the information they need to stay safe.<br /><br />If you want to know more about how to speak to your children about sex, HIV and AIDS, ask your Regional AIDS Coordinator or primary school teacher for 'Let's Talk - A guide for parents and caregivers'.<br /><br />Be your own hero.
