Corinna Thierolf analyses John Cage's Ryoanji, a loose series of drawings made between 1983 and 1992. --Hatje Cantz, 2000

In the handmade book, Happy Pills, I explore the relationship between objects and people from the perspective of fashionable colors promoted by Pantone and other consumer brands. These colors are used in popular advertisement, which is also a part of consumerism. By photographing objects without consumer context - the price, the functions or the shapes- I recuperate pure appreciation of color and texture, and try to heal people's obsession with buying under the influence of social trends and advertisement--https://www.v-yujie.com/solo-exhibition
