A borrowed view is a personal quest to observe nature as both an image appropriated from the real and intervened in. The daily routine of the project became a means for learning about a place through the physical acts of walking and observing. My attention was given to the overlooked, that which to the resident of the city would appear mundane almost invisible yet for the outsider the overlooked provides the experience of the new--Artist's web site, http://roberleybell.com, viewed on October 12, 2011.
