To the Editor:
The Gay Liberation Front salutes the "fresh start" which the new CT Editorial Board envisions
for the spring semester. Always, we are willing and able to present to the Student Community the ever present need which gay students have of being understood and accepted as whole, viable members of the University.
"Coming out" at the UR is difficult because of the peer pressure, the desire to be "one of the guys", fear of paranoia, but some is extablished fact. The students of today are the authorities and parents of tomorrow. On the whole, society condemns and misunderstands gay people. We urge a greater understanding, caring, sensitivity and rapport for each and every one of our fellow students. We pledge, as the CT has, to further discussion and knowledge about this topic.
