Gay Connection
The University of Rechester has a vital, active gay and lesbian community. Like members of other minorities, we try to help each other by sharing information and providing a sympathetic ear. The Gay Connection, our confidential telephone service, is one part of these efforts. It is staffed by gay peers on campus — trained peer counselors, both men and women — and is in operation every Thursday and Friday, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.; while school is in session.
Call the Gay Connection for gay-related information — health-care and counseling referrals, information about gay organizations and events, to find out more about the Gay and Lesbian Association, or if you just want to talk.
So give us a Call. Because you aren't alone.
