Description
16 mm silent film of Professor Wolf Vishniac demonstrating the "Wolf Trap" device.
Wolf Vishniac received the first biological sciences grant given by NASA, for the development of an instrument to safely and independently collect and detect microorganisms on other planets. Vishniac would die tragically in Antarctica while collecting equipment. A crater on Mars is named in his honor.
